Well, first..

Happy New Year! Happy 2010! =D

Hahas, its exactly 1.09am now and I have just finished packing up my room for my relatives who are coming tmr =)

I have also realised that my bookshelf is really so small! One shelf isn't even enough to put my sec1 books & ws... Well, I just hope my mum doesn't open the drawer in my wardrobe... at least not until cny is over... Lol!

Anyways, I hope that this year, I can get better scores than the last cause I really want to get into a good class. I also hope that I will be less prone to falling sick this year. I really don't like falling sick so many times a year... it's really the worst when I fall sick at the wrong times, its really... argh.

I'm getting super tired now... and my parents are still preparing some cny stuff downstairs...

Today was so terrible.
Had house meeting in the afternoon but because of my flu I could hardly cheer, talk and everything. Arghh.

Furthermore, my computer died on me ytd night.
Really. I just switched off the computer screen and went to eat my dinner downstairs but when I came back up, I can't even switch on my computer. Everytime I press the power button, it will just go "peep! peep! peep!"

I'm soo going to dieee. All my files are inside... including my Home Econs hw which I done it last week... My mum said some guy is coming to fix it but he's coming on a Tuesday... and my Home Econs is on a Monday... =( Now I have to redo it...

I just hope all my files are able to be recovered back... =(

Sighh... Now I'm using my brother's laptop, which doesn't have any of my files inside. The only good thing is that the laptop it is much newer and faster.

Btw, anyone who wants to help me out with the design/making of the chinese banner are most welcomed!! =D (Mrs Cumar wants the design from me by tmr and so far I only have 2 designs but no words yet... Hmm, I better go look for some now...)

Went to school at 7.45 today for prefects' duties. It was fun ushering the parents =)

Then I went for tuition at 1pm. Guess who I saw after tuition? Qiyu! hahas. She was waiting outside her classroom for her class then passed me some prefects stuff for my duty too. So coincidence!! Hahas! We're both in the student welfare group together, btw.

Oh yah! Last week for my eng tuition, our hw was to do a book review of our preference. I was wondering which book to write about when I thought about my 800 word book review for holiday hw. I was like, "Oh yah! I can use that for my hw!" So I went to search for it on my comp and printed it straightaway. and guess what? that piece of hw came back to me and I got an A-star! Hahahaha =D

Our new timetable just came out and most of the people were super unhappy with it (including me.. haha). I mean, recess on the second period? Home Econs on monday? and there's no 1.25 dismissal at all.

Anyway, I think I'm lacking of sleep this week.. =(

Handbells ~ DCF is finally coming back! Mrs Wong(teacher-in-charge) that he will only be teaching the sec 3 & 4s.. But I don't think so though. Cause the sec 2s are going to Osaka, Japan this year too. So he has to teach us =)

But, the release date in Singapore is... 18 March?! Eww. It came out in Australia on the 26.12.09!

Today was awesome!

Ate lunch with family then went shopping in the afternoon.

I'm happy cause:
1) My brother gave me new earpieces! Yay!
2) My sister expanded my comp memory! (cause my comp keeps lagging=( )
3) I got a new bag! =)

BUT... my tuition starts tmr and school is starting this monday... =(

Hey everyone!

Okay, it's like 1.31am now so I may be a little late to say this.. but

HAPPY NEW YEAR! =D

Did anyone catch any countdown performance just now? Well, I did catch some of it.. Especially when it's having performances by different singers and I was busy switching channels from Singapore's channel 5 & 8 to Taiwan's 台灣 & 高雄 channels to see which one was more interesting. Hahas =)

Anyway, I wish that this year will be filled with joy and happiness and that exams will all pass with flying colours. =D

Had the Primary School Camp ytd.
Let's see, it was warm & wet overall.
Hahas =D

The camp was amazing!
I was station master for 2 games
"Slow and Steady" & "Tell Me Something"

For the SnS,
the groups were suppose to hold the ends of a string
that were joined to a marker.
Then they were suppose to write the words
"Climbing Mount Everest" & draw it.
However, the groups were really dead.

Anyway, "Tell Me Something" was actually fun!
They were supposed to pass as much water as they can from a pail to another.
However, the cups have holes in them!
Some of them were blindfolded and some can only use their legs.
The most hilarious part was also that
all the groups leaders and the station masters all took the cups with holes
and started watering the poor kids!
All the groups ended with soaking wet shorts! Lol!
N andrea, just took the pail and splashed it on me.
Luckily, I dodged! =)
But part of my shorts/shirt/socks/shoes still got wet.
Hahahaha

After this game ended, Kiah Ling & I found out that
our supposedly score sheet for the groups were drenched in pools of water. Lol!

The food in stored for everyone was actually quite nice too.
We had hotdog bread n milos for breakfast,
Macdonalds for lunch,
& Swiss rolls n milo for tea.
The strawberry Swiss rolls was nice! Blueberry too!
However, the macs wasnt really appetising.
Nvm...

But the worst part of ytd was that on the night before ytd I actually slept for like...
2hrs or so?
I don't know whyy..
I just lied on the bed for hours without slping.
Surprising? Even Karina said I siao. Hahahas =)

Oh, n did I mention that there was a girl from ZhongHua(?)
who danced to "Nobody"?
She danced the exact same thing as in the MV!
Like, from the beginning!
Everyone was like wow!

I woke up today n found that my legs were aching.
hmm, nvm.

Primary School Camp

Went to school today for some pri sch camp briefing.
PL prefects are suppose to organise a camp for Primary Schools.
The 3 schools are PL(pri), Punggol Primary & Zhong Hua Primary.

I'm a station master in the games comm!!! =D
I'm in-charge of 2 games with YiHui & Kiah Ling
Luckily I'm not a group leader! Hahas
Cause I have been taking class duties since pri sch.....

Anywayy, can't wait for tmr's game trial!
I'm sure it would be super fun!

I didn't have the time to post it ytd... but

Happy Birthday to my DAD!

It was a shocking dinner ytd! Hahaha

This week was soo tiring..
I had to stay back until 5pm from Monday to Friday for Handbells practice cause we are having a performance at Toa Payoh Hub next Tuesday.

And because of this, Im missing lots of other activites as well...

Like the science workshop Abigail, Sarah, Lisa, Melissa and I have to do for the P6s next Tuesday.
I did 2 powerpoint slides, but I also missed lots of the meetings they had.
Furthermore, the timing for the workshop clashed with the HB performance...

Secondly, Im also missing the meeting for the Chinese project on Monday.. cause I am also having HB practice...

I am sorry if I am not contributing enough.. I will try though.

Anyway, it was also necessary for me to go for the HB practice cause we were learning new songs and stuff.

CCM Camp ~ Go Obama!

Haha, yup. My group name for the Campus Change Makers camp is called "Obama"! Lol.

There were lots of PL girls who went there but there were only 4 Sec 1s...and that's Joyi, Seow Hwee, Hannah and I. Very little, huh?

The camp was really fun! The facilitators were awesome! But seriously, they should have given us more time to sleep. We were suppose to bathe at like, 10pm/11pm+?? the light's out at 11.45 and we are suppose to wake up at 6+/7+...

Anyway, I only have 2 photos cause I didn't bring my camera there..

Oh yeah! When we were cheering for our activities, the americans who were camping there too heard us and one of them even shook his head! So embarrassing!!!

Netball Inter-Class Game!

I just got back from my CCM Camp! It was AWESOME! Hahaha. I will post it again next time when i get the photos.

Sry if I didn't post anything bout this.. but the INTER-CLASS NETBALL GAME WAS FUN! All of us played really well! I actually didn't expect us to get 1st!

Congrats to everyone in the team for the the game! The rest of the class were awesome in cheering too! =D

I was the GS during the netball games. But when we were playing during the finals against 1-1, Jessica passed me the ball and I tried shooting the ball 3 times(!) into the net but it didnt go in!!!! Arghh! But luckily the I managed to shoot in the balls in the net later...Phew!

The next game was fun too! Their GS was good! & I think I was actually very lucky then.. Cause all the balls managed to go into the net! =D It was really a close match!

1-2A was super too! Their game was so exciting! Jia yous!

Last but not least, GO 1-2!

St. John's Island

Went to St. John's Island the yesterday! Not all the ESP girls went, and there were also some sec 2s and 3s there. At first, I wanted it to rain... But on second thought, I don't want to walk on muddy water. Hahas. I took lots of photos on the way!

We went to the island by boat... I got a little headache n giddiness in when we were on it...Arghh... Btw, the blurness isn't caused by the camera. It's actually the dirty window!

Finally reached the island! Woohooo! It feels good to be on land!

There's really a lot of benches there.. But there's no one else there other than us! Hahaha

Phew! The Sun's really warm!

Finally reached civillisation!

We were walking towards the gallery when we saw these cute images imprinted on the pathway!

There were a few shelves showcasing many types of shells. The best thing there is that it is air-conditioned! Lisa, Stacy, Dorcas and I were like standing under it the whole time! Hahaha!

Eeepp! See the ants??! There were like hundreds of them there! Even on the floor! Eww...

Omg! It's a ghost-crab eating a moon-crab! After we saw it, everyone started to crowd around it.. then I think the ghost-crab got scared and then ran sideways while still biting on the moon-crab! Everyone was really shocked cause it ran really fast!

Lol, see the watery, mushy, sand? Yup. We had a hard time walking through it! Whenever I stepped on it, it gave out this squishy sound! Hahaha. We kept avoiding to step on the wet area...But everyone eventually gave up and got all our shoes and socks drenched.

Phew! It was really warm in the afternoon. But after the Sun went down it was quite cooling! The scenery was awesome! =)

We also saw many other corals and plants.. I still have lots of pictures, but I think this post is long enough! Hahaha

After finish walking along the shore, we had to walk the same way back. It was really fun and cool cause we all had to walk in the dark with our torchlights! Hahaha! There were very little street lamps there cause there's very little people living there I think.

Everyone was safe and sound.. But there was a guide who unfortunately stepped on a STONEFISH and got stung but it. Stonefish looks like an ordinary stone but once you step or provoke it, it's needles can even pierce through your shoe. Furthermore, it has poison in it... We had to then rush back to Singapore cause she was really in pain..

When we reached Singapore, the ambulance was already there. Then they had to carry her from the boat... It was around 8+ then. It was super scary!!! I hope she's ok!! I think Abigail was traumatised from it then...Cheer up, kay?

Anyway, I went back home, bathed and fell deep asleep. It was such an exhausting day!
